Who we are:

This Policy is published by DEDAGROUP S.P.A., Via di Spini 50, 38121 Trento (Italy), VAT No. 01763870225 (hereinafter also “Dedagroup”), and by the Group companies controlled by Dedagroup: Deda Bit S.r.l., Deda Next S.r.l., Deda Value S.r.l., Deda Tech S.r.l., Dedagroup Stealth S.p.a., RAD Informatica S.r.l., Berma S.r.l., ORS S.r.l., Opentech S.r.l., Laser S.r.l. (hereinafter also collectively the “Deda Group”).
DEDAGROUP S.p.A. is the data controller and is responsible, personally and on behalf of its companies, for the acquisition, use, transmission, storage and protection of the personal data collected through the website, in compliance with this Privacy Policy and the laws in force (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, General Data Protection Regulation, or “GDPR”). 
Deda Group's data protection governance structure provides for the appointment of a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who is responsible for the data protection plan on behalf of the data controller. Our DPO can be contacted at dpo@dedagroup.it.

 

Type of personal data and nature of the processing:

Our website forms and our event registration forms will require you to provide some personal data: name, surname, email, phone number, company for which you work and professional role. Among these data items, only those necessary to identify you as a member of a corporate organization will be mandatory.

By providing your personal data through the websites of the Deda Group companies (hereinafter the “Websites”), you will enable us to use such data exclusively to manage the requests received and give you an adequate feedback.

You can specify the business areas of the Deda Group you are interested in the most, in order to receive more targeted communications; if no specific choice is made, we will assume that all the Group’s business areas are relevant to you.

If, on the other hand, you fill in an event registration form on our website, you may be asked to provide additional data, such as the region you come from or any food preferences. This data will be used to arrange the online or face-to-face meeting in the best possible way and invite you to future events organized near you, as well as for statistical purposes.

 

How we use your personal data and for what purposes:

We process your data based on the consent you gave by filling in our online forms in order to reply to your request for information or for participating in our events.

If you have given your consent for marketing activities, you will receive communications and updates on news, future events, products and solutions regarding the Deda Group. 

In particular, we will process your data to:

  • Organize the event for which you have registered and send you information material, as well as to invite you to the future events of the Deda Group that are in line with your areas of interest.
  • Give you access to reserved content, such as white papers, presentations, webinar recordings and past events.
  • Send you communications on the Deda Group's news regarding the business areas you are interested in.
  • Present to you our targeted marketing campaigns, contacting you via email or via telephone, so as to offer you promotions and to inform you of products and services of the Deda Group.
  • Invite you to take part in customer satisfaction survey campaigns.
  • Measure the performance of our email marketing campaigns (e.g., by analyzing the percentage of open and click rates).

We may send you personalized communications based on the specific interests and preferences you have specified online only if you have given your consent.

You can modify your consent at any time by accessing our subscription center, where you can manage the activities for which we can process your personal data and select the business areas of your interest.

In any case, you can unsubscribe from our marketing services, at any time, pursuant to and in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 3 of the GDPR, following the unsubscribe link in our communications or by sending a request to: dataprivacy@dedagroup.it. You may unsubscribe from all business areas or just from those that you specifically deem no longer relevant to you.

 

Who we can share your data with:

As Deda, we can transfer your personal data to other Group companies in their capacity as Data Processors, in full respect of the data protection laws in force.

In case of event registration, your data may also be processed by approved third-party companies, partners or suppliers of the Group, selected for their high level of professionalism and appointed as Data Processors.

We will share your personal data with third-party companies not belonging to the Group, such as our partners, for their marketing purposes exclusively with your explicit consent.

 

Where we store your data:

Dedagroup will process your personal data and store it in our data centers or in the data centers of selected and approved suppliers that may be located in various countries, always within the European Union.

 

For how long we store your data:

With regard to the different processing activities carried out, Deda Group can store your data:

  • If you have given generic consent, we will use your data only to reply to your request for information or for participating in our events. We will not store your data to use it for different purposes.
  • For marketing activities, we will store your data for a period of 4 years from the time you gave your consent. At the end of this period, you will be asked whether you want to renew your consent.
  • For personalized marketing activities entailing profiling, we will store your data for 2 years from the time you gave your consent. In this case as well, at the end of the said period, you will be asked whether you want to renew your consent.
  • If you are our customer, we will store your data until the termination of the contract or, in any case, for the period provided for by law.
 

If you have come into contact with a salesperson of the Deda Group:

If you have come into contact with a salesperson of the Deda Group, and you have expressed your interest in being contacted again, you will receive an email to inform you that your data has been entered into our corporate systems. Upon receipt of that email, you will be able to manage your consent, select the business areas of your interest and specify the marketing communications you want to receive.

 

How you can protect your data:

You can exercise your rights vis-à-vis the Deda Group at any time, pursuant to Articles 15 et seq. of the GDPR, by writing to dataprivacy@dedagroup.it. You have the right to:

  • Obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning you exist and the communication of such data in intelligible form.
  • Obtain information on: a) the purposes and methods of the processing; b) the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means; c) the entities or categories of entities to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the State’s territory, data processor(s) or person(s) in charge of the processing.
  • Also obtain: a) access to the personal data processed by the Deda Group; b) the updating, rectification, or, as the case may be, the erasure of the data; c) the portability of the data provided.
  • Object, either in whole or in part, to the processing of your data for direct marketing purposes. This right may also be exercised by clicking on the unsubscribe link in direct marketing communications.
  • Lodge a complaint with a Supervisory Authority, in the cases set forth by and pursuant to the laws in force.
 

Legal disclaimer

1. All the information contained in all the Group's Websites, including texts, documents, images, graphics, videos and their arrangement and processing, the software, and all the codes and script formats used to implement the Websites (hereinafter "Content") are subject to intellectual property laws and are protected by copyright and author's rights (Italian Law No. 633 of April 22, 1941). Therefore, the Content cannot be copied, altered, distributed, published or used on other websites for commercial purposes without the specific authorization of Dedagroup.
2. The trademarks and logos used on our Websites are protected by commercial rights and are registered trademarks of Dedagroup S.p.A., of the companies of the Deda Group and/or of third parties.
3. The information contained in our Websites is managed thoroughly and checked regularly. Nevertheless, information may contain errors and may not be complete, accurate or updated at all times. 
4. Dedagroup declines all responsibility for all direct or indirect damages resulting from the use of its Websites.
5. Access to our Websites is free and optional. By browsing the Web pages that are not subject to registration, the User declares that he/she accepts the application of all the laws in force in Italy, where applicable.
6. It is however expressly prohibited to make the Websites visible in framing, deep linking or mirroring mode.
7. The use of the Websites by the User implies the acceptance of the provisions set forth in this section and in the Privacy Policy section.
